The Remington 45, even with a series 80 trigger, actually shoots better than the Colt!

What a surprise. But the Colt's fit and finish is better, and it's definitely prettier.

But the Rem is half the price of the Colt.

OK, I'm done buying guns for......1 year!

Oh I miss the fall colours!

The leaves here most of the time just turn brown and drop.

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

Saturday GS/ES report, see man:

Largely disappointing GSs today despite long list, sigh man.

The take, see man:

-- pants for Mini-B. = $1, OK man

-- car that does tricks = $1, steal man

-- partial jug of Amdro hormiga-killer; pair of power-outage worklights = $Many

($2+2+1), deal at ES man

-- Many (2+1) shirts, Many (2+1) cans shaving-cream, Many (2+1) dented boxes Kleenex

= $Many ($2+2+2+1-half of half a buck), thrift store closing down man

Total = $Many, inexpensive man.

Blew to casa, to lunch & spend time with Mini-B., but plans changed, sigh man.

While out, Mini-B. met favorite playmate by chance & preferred his company, sniff man.

We therefore napped for nearly 2 hours, necessary man.

Up-woke and played with returned Mini-B., inventive wee man.

Warshered/baked/folded kitchen rags et al., job of husband man.

Dished & must de-dish the warsher, mandatory Saturdays man.

Cat heavily jockeying to play Wrappers, been some time for persistent miu man.

Mornin', Commie-, sicko-, and other babes with unallocated +1 inventories!
