We sent in the i130, I am the petitioner, he is the beneficiary. We sent the i130 5 months ago, 3 months ago I gave birth to our daughter, and because this process if taking forever, I would like to visits him 1-2 months, he hasn't held his baby ever and we miss him. Can I visit him while we are waiting for an answer.

Yes you can visit him. Two things:

- Have someone at home checking your mail, in case you get an RFE.

- Be sure to have the I-864 covered. Would you need to give up your job to visit him?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I agree with penguin. Just have everything prepared for your next step and have someone checking your mail. You can still check your email in Bosna at a cyber café (if he doesn't have wifi) so just have someone manning your actual mail haha. Aw, I hope you get to go soon! Congratulations!

I think so, I've been at my new emplyer for less than a year so i don't get vacations until anniversary which is August.

Then it might not be a good idea to visit him. Are you getting a joint sponsor who meets the 125% poverty line and has a steady income from a job?
