Really? i have been checking online too the past few hours but i did not come across any available dates. Is this true? I am fervently refreshing my screen right now but no available dates are posted.

My understanding is that even if it expires, they can re-validate during your appointment. You don't need proof of trying to book an appointment, as they are aware of the back log, and you have 1 year from time of payment for the appointment to be valid. They told me the money is no refundable, and valid for 1 year from the payment date. Now I hope this would not be the case but if there isn't an appointment and your 1 year after payment comes up that may be an issue.... But I hope that won't happen to any of us.

I am in the same boat, ours expires on Oct 31, but we hadn't been trying to book an appointment for awhile due to some life emergencies that took much precedent. But we are back on track, I made the call to Montreal and they said no worries just book the appointment since you have paid, and the officer will just re-validate at the appointment. Plus to make sure that all of the letters and info that I need to bring for the appointment are valid and not expired.

So I sit here each day refreshing my browser, hoping for the calendar to show appointment dates. Thats all I can do right now... Fingers crossed

Good Luck to you!

Unfortunately it has been two months now my my Fiancée and I have been clicking multiple times a day on the site and have never once saw a calendar or an appointment. I have e-mailed and called and they insist that we cannot pay until appointments are available so we are on a payment screen with no pay button still. Others have told me they were able to pay so I do not understand why the consulate tells me that no-one pays till appointments are available.

My e-mails both received semi-reprimanding responses that implied that I wanted to somehow cut in line ahead of others and that I was e-mailing the troubleshooting team for something that was not a webpage issue but an availability issue.

Again I ask how is it that those of you who pay are paying? how are you finding the link to pay as there is none on my page and they will not take our payment over the phone, I fear we will never see an appointment the way things are going.....

Yes, it's true. I bet if the other poster Shucks wants to confirm their Nov 16th appointment, I bet she/he made their appointment between 12:27PM EST and 12:34PM EST.

Anyway, I'd prefer a December appointment, so I'm going to keep my script checking. I'll post here when dates open up, after I've selected my date.

I would try calling the Montreal office again. I had issues also as I couldn't figure it out what I was supposed to do on the site. They walked me through the site, helping me log in, Makings sure I was on the correct site. As I was trying to do stuff on the Blue or Purple site, when I needed to be on the IV site (Green Pages). They walked me through everything.

If you are not seeing certain buttons on a site, acouple things I would try from a troubleshooting standpoint would be a different browser. Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, you could have a setting in one of them that is causing the issue. Or try a completely different computer which might help you. or try using ya smart phone and see if it is different that way also. Beyond that, reach out to Montreal and ask for help with Payment. They will find a way to get your money, so you can continue on your journey.

Best of luck.

I did, it was closer to the end of that time and the beginning of the 17-25 opening timeframe.

its like you legitimately need to refresh that page every two minutes in hopes of getting something

Hi Noctural,

Would it be possible if you could share the script you are running to check the interviews.

Hoping to hear from you soon.

Kind regards,

Hey ConiMoni,

It's just a little complicated to get working. It's a javascript to search the calendar for 'available dates'. But it requires a Chrome plug-in, to allow javascript to be injected into a page. Then, when dates are found, it opens a new e-mail to me, to with the e-mail body being the dates that are open. So then, I've created an Outlook add-in, to then send me the e-mail. So it's not simple to setup and I can't really explain how to do so easily.

I have done all of these things and nothing changed it, Montreal is a dead end for us as we have both called and they keep insisting that no-one is allowed to pay until there are appointments available.

They talk to me like I am trying to cheat somehow by contacting them like that and keep telling me to be patient.

I am so worried now, starting to really wonder if we will ever be together....

I am not sure why, but i was able to make the payment even though there were no appointments available.

Do you mind sharing the screenshot of the message that you receive when you are trying to make the payment? May be we all can help.

We definitely made our payment before ever trying to schedule an appointment.

In fact, payment is "step 3" on their website, and scheduling an interview is step 4.

Exactly.. thats what i am trying to advise "Sapphira" that we too were able to make the payment even though there were no appointments available.

I am not sure whey they are unable to make the payment...

Hmm.. That is strange.. Did u try starting all over again by creating a new account and then adding the applicants into the new account??

Also while creating the account, did you select that you need to schedule a K Visa appointment?

These people were able to pay over the phone, granted this was before they updated the website so maybe its different now, but worth a shot!
