School age vaccinations?

Does anyone know what vaccinations they need to get enrolled at school for a 7 year old? Do they need the Hep A & B, Dtap etc. She's already had chickenpox when she was 5 does she need that vaccine? My little girl has had every required vaccination for school in the UK and also had her TB (not required). But she is a US citizen and not required to have anything done for the interview stage, I just want to make sure it is all done before we go so I can get her into school asap.

You will need to check your State. I know here in Arkansas they made it required to have Tdap, Hep A &B and chicken pox plus the rest. She would not need chicken pox vaccine as she had the virus. Waivers are still allowed in most places.

Very good question. You may want to make this specific inquiry at the local/state health dept where the child will be living. Another good place to inquire is the local school district where the child will be attending school.

(i) At least seven (7) years of age and less than eleven (11) years of age and has received:

1.a. Five (5) doses of DTaP or DTP or combinations of the two (2) vaccines; or

b. A dose of Td that was preceded by two (2) doses of DTP, DTaP, DT, or Td or combinations of the four (4) vaccines;

2. Four (4) doses of IPV or OPV or combinations of the two (2) vaccines;

3. Three (3) doses of HepB;

4. Two (2) doses of MMR; and

5. Two (2) doses of varicella, unless a healthcare provider states that the child has had a

diagnosis of typical varicella disease or verification of a history of varicella disease by a healthcare

provider or a diagnosis of herpes zoster disease or verification of a history of herpes zoster disease by

a healthcare provider;

I need to take her to boots to get her HEP B then and the doctors can hopefully do the DTap.

She has had her TB, MMR, Dtap, IPV, PCV, Hib, Men C. I think she needs the Dtap again and then the Heb B, she might need the Varicella if I can't get proof that she's already had it (she had it before). So it isn't too bad. But my surgery is saying they have no one that can do it as the staff that did them quit and they haven't got new staff yet so call at the end of the month... the hep B we have to pay for so I'm taking her to boots to get it..
