I got an email today from the NVC - A Checklist. It essentially said that we didn't meet the financial requirements. I thought it odd, because I had my father as a joint sponsor and there shouldn't have been any issue. I had applied via email, and got a response shortly thereafter saying that they had received the email with my father's I-864.

The letter said that I could just bring an additional sponsor's I-864 to the interview, and didn't need to send it to them (which would have caused up to a 30 day delay).

I rang the NVC and spoke to a man who said that they hadn't taken my dad's information into account from what he could tell. He said I got the information before it was accessible to him?

But he said that I had a Case Complete, and it was all good news so in about a week I should get the case complete email and this would let me know what I had to bring to interview. He said no date had been scheduled yet, and couldn't give me a time frame because it depends on the caseload at each embassy.

If you're interested in time frames, I got an email on the 28th of January saying that they got my documents on the 20th and to leave up to 30 days for them to process it. From when I sent my documents in (via email) until I got the notice saying my documents were reviewed was just 16 days.

Congratulations. I didn't even know Australia had EP. I have added you to the spreadsheet with a 2/5 Case Complete date.
