Hi all, I too am an october filer! sent my file october 22nd dhl expedite mail to Chicago Lockbox. Now just waiting on my receipt. Hoping they will notify via email...I am living with my ugandan spuouse in Uganda, where we have a very unreliable mail service >_<[/quote}Welcome to the group. As long as you file form G-1145 with your application you should receive notifications by text message and email. Good luck

Hi guys! Just a quick update that I received our NOA1 in the mail on Monday, so here's our updated timeline in case it helps anyone else:

My timeline until now:

I- 130 Package Sent: 10/14

I-130 Received in Chicago (DHL): 10/16

Electronic NOA1 Received: 10/21 European time (10/20 US time)

Check Cashed: 10/22

Paper NOA1 Received: 10/26

Alright, good luck to everyone! Will update once we hear anything else....

Not sure if there is any thread started for these who filled for CR1/IR1 in October. Couldn't find anything (could be crappy searching done on my Phone). However I was wondering if there is anyone who filled for spouse visa and would be interested in sharing experience and keep each other updated on how things go! :)

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

We haven't received NOA-2 yet, but I just checked the status of our case on uscis.gov and it says it was approved yesterday! We received our NOA-1 on October 5th, so it's been only 29 days! :goofy:

Happy and ready for the NVC stage!

I hope all you guys get approved soon as well!

I just noticed that the I-130 and I-485 fees have been debited from my account. So, I am hoping to get the receipt notification in the next couple of days.

I got my receipt details today. Actually they were sent to my wife's email address yesterday night but she did not check her emails until now. lol. I guess the next step is to wait for the finger-printing appointment.

I'm in a similar boat as Miki28 -- our petition went out Oct. 30 and was delivered Nov. 3 from Canada. Keeping an eye out for the NOA1. Cheers and good luck, all!

I-130 received: 11/3/15
NOA1 via email: 11/5/15 - case routed to CSC
NOA1 via snail mail: 11/17/15

NOA2 via email: 12/9/15!!!!!

NOA2 via snail mail: 12/16/15

NVC received case: 12/16/15

Case # and IIN over the phone: 1/4/16, assigned 12/29/15

DS-261 submitted and AOS fee paid: 1/4/16

DS-261 reviewed over the phone: 1/8/16

Sent AOS and IV documents, received and paid IV fee: 1/11/16

Scan date: 1/12/16

DS-260 unlocked and completed: 1/13/16

Case complete: 2/18/2016

Interview date: 4/12/2016 -- visa approved!

CEAC status issued: 4/13/16

We are filling from the Czech Republic, where we both live, so I hope ours will be same fast :thumbs:
