Sharda, we have and going in BOTH directions.

Yes, we have tons of pics from a pre-wedding shoot in the Botanical Gardens, but the wedding was at the Promenade Gardens next to the president's residence.

Yes, I am just trying to lighten the mood here. Rough few days watching my wife cry long tears wanting us to be together.

I can only imagine....look on the bright side it will all be worth it at the end.

I once told my husband (who is the USC) that I don't think I could have manage being part if I was still in Guyana...luckily I am in Canada and we used to see each other once a month.....when he come one month I go the other month but it was only for weekends though because of our jobs.......but the best part is that we get to see each other unlike if we were in Guyana lol.

I am done with the entire process got approved on Oct 2 and collect my visa on Oct 7.....it was the best feelings ever. Now the moving, unfortunately I am planning to move until late Jan 2016 or early Feb 2016 because its not like Guyana......get the visa....pack your suitcase and on the plane.....lol.....I have a few unresolved / unfinished things that needs to be taken care of before I moved......but on the bright side my hubby already plan to be in here in 2 weeks.

The tough part is wanting and needing to go for a visit now but realizing i may have to go back in a few months. Besides, don't have that kind of fluid money to travel 3,000 miles once per month. Wish I had it like that. Really miss the Caribbean feel with my wife in it.

Why not? Seems that is often one piece of evidence they always seek to show support. Sure, sometimes the beneficiary might not need it, or in any abundance, as with my wife, but at times, a couple dollars here and there was needed.

If you can show he needs small amounts to do paperwork US immigration requires, then maybe ok

but when i asked one lawyer if i should include this in proof of comingle of funds, he said "Will look like he is marrying you for money" even though he was on my tax returns and entitled to half the refund

My husband was not from high fraud country but still i was advised not to show i sent money

not a good idea in some countries to show US citizen has sent money to Beneficary

Kris&me its completely different in Guyana.......this is a piece of evidence the CO normally looks for ....its called supporting their husband/wife.....especially wife as most women in Guyana are housewives and it is expected upon marriage the husband supports her doesn't matter which country you live in.....@ Thomianguy can confirm what I am saying........another thing they also look forward for is shipping recpt for barrel or boxes because its a Guyanese custom / thing to except certain things once they have a husband/wife living in the US and the CO's are all well aware of this .

It is not called co-mingling of funds in Guyana......it is considered supporting your partner......that validates your relationship and or marriage in Guyana.........its not a scam or fraud ....the CO's in Guyana is fully aware of this, different country different requirements is expected.

I am only saying these things because I am from Guyana originally I know the expectation and fully aware of the Immigration process there.

Fortunately, my wife is a very self sufficient, college graduate, professional working for her government so sending funds to her has been a rarity, but the occasion or two this has happened over the going on 3 years we've known each other, we have those receipts.

I can see what Kris is saying, but one thing, I guess, that would work in our favor is when they see my finances, or lack thereof (lol), they will see it is definitely not my money she married me for. Hahahaha! I would not even say it is the "good looks" either. She my prize and treasure. Me...well, I'm the lucky guy she chose even though I can hardly wrap my head around that one.

Oh, yes...as Sharda pointed out, Guyana would be different because, supposedly, they are the second poorest country in the Caribbean region so I guess they EXPECT that spouses and families would be sending money to their loved ones over there. While VERY true that there are people who marry "for money," in more ways than one, we sure have tons of proof to the contrary and tons of proof to the legitimacy of our marriage including those photos, messages and videos if they care to see them. Heck, we might even charge for them to read/watch them and make some money out of this. LOL
