Hello I had interview today but i didnt get visa. Im an IR-1 applicant and we used joint sponsor who is a friend of my husband. When I went for interview all is good except one thing....they are looking for the Joint Sponsor's wife AOS! What kind of AOS Form should we let her sign? What else do we need to submit besides the form? In their letter to my husband they are only looking for her form...we submitted tax transcripts and assets, but in their assets, the wife's name is also written so I assume that's why they want hers too. Do we give her the I-864 or the I-864A? Do i need to get her I.D.s as well in photocopy? Will her driver's license, a photocopy of her u.s. passport and a photocopy of her birth cert suffice?

Please advice asap. Thanks!

What u mean from letter from embassy? The email we got is from NVC. They were the one who gave us the schedule. And the embassy sent an email to my husband after my interview asking for AOS...which we have with our joint sponsor, except they were also looking for the joint sponsor's wife's AOS.

No. Not that letter.. The letter with symbols was send from NVC not US embassy.. Wait I will show the email we receive from US embassy...

Congratulations on your upcoming immigrant visa interview. Your file is now with the U.S. Embassy in Manila and we have had a chance to review it. Based on our review, you need to bring the following documents with you to your interview:

FROM APPLICANT(S)

- Old passport for **** with US passport

- Certificate of No Record of Marriage (CENOMAR) issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) within the past 12 months for

- Medical examination results for *********

CLEARANCES

- NBI A.K.A. for **************

We hope this email helps you prepare for your interview. If you are unable to obtain all of the requested documents, you may still attend your interview at the U.S. Embassy. However, if you do not bring these documents to your interview, it will delay the issuance of your visa.

The embassy sends the 221g letter as an email most of the time now, check your email and the spam filter. It may take a few days for it to arrive

The 221g will list what is needed
