Hi,

It is hard to provide employment letter for our joint sponsor. Will the recent paystubs and w2 suffice for it? Or does we have to obtain the employment letter?

I think 3 paystubs recent should be enough

I-130 Sent : 2015-08-04

I-130 NOA1 : 2015-08-06

I-130 Approved : 2015-09-01

Case Sent to NVC: 2015-09-16

Received by NVC: 2015-09-24

Case # assigned: 2015-10-05

DS-261 filled: 2015-10-05

AoS fee available: 2015-10-06

AoS fee showed paid: 2015-10-07

DS-261 reviewed over the phone: 2015-10-06

IV fee available: 2015-10-08

You don't have to provide a letter its optional.

A recent pay stub and a complete 2014 tax return including W2 forms will suffice. The return and W2 though, are historical information. The recent pay stub is what substitutes for the employer letter. The tax return is required regardless.
