Hello,

I divorced in August 2014, but we were separated since January 2013 because I discovered he had a baby with another woman... I came in September 2011 and the baby was born in Feb 2012. I accepted because of love but he kept messing with that other woman, so when I found out I left... They are no longer together because she is cheating on him (lol)

Anyways I moved on, got a great job... But now I need my 10 year green card and what I sent was not enough for the immigration service...

They want the tax returns we filed together I sent 2011 and I dont know where is the 2012 or how to get it...

We had car insurance together and I don't know how to get that either... that's all I can provide that is on the list of the RFE letter.

Thank you

go to the nearest IRS office and ask for transcript / your name is on the return and you are entitled to a copy

ask the insurance carrier for proof you were on the policy

You can actually request those tax transcripts online, too: http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript (currently, looks like they'll mail you them, but when the page is properly working, you can get a copy to print off directly from the website) Your returns will be pegged against your SSN.

If it is important to you then I am sure that you are able to get more documentation of your life together. It may not be easy, but it may be possible. Being difficult is not an acceptable reason. Do the best that you can and get as much as you can. As mentioned previously contact the IRS for tax information, insurance carriers, landlords, credit card companies, etc.

The goal is the 10 year card. Do what you need to in order to obtain the card.
