So my question, once im done filling out the i-130 application, do the documents need to be attach to send along with the application and fees? or do I have to wait once it gets approved? Thanks, really appreciate an answer and sorry if I bother with a simple question. I just confused myself that is all.

You can send documents that prove a bonafide (real) marriage with the I-130 package.

For example, I sent:

Chat logs, pictures, air ticket receipts and itinerary, and journal entries where I talked about my trip, and my husband.

The I-130 instructions include a list of documents to send along with the form. It is all sent together in one packet.

2012: Married
2014 2016 2017: I-130 packet direct to Frankfurt

Frankfurt's "steps" to DCF:

Step 1: I-130 Petition Checklist (PDF, from their USCIS page)

Step 2: Immigrant/Fiance(e) & K-Visa Applicant Checklist (PDF, from their Appointment & Interview page)

Photocopies. The only time originals are used ar when the beneficiary takes them to the interview. Unless you are specifically asked to provide them. At the interview the beneficiary will show originals of all documents plus a photocopy of each.

Alright thanks, cause in order to get her original birth certificate she would have to go to her birth city

Is there a reason you chose to file K3? Because from what I've read on some posts, I thought the K3 is almost obsolete and seldom used.

To be clear, the best you can obtain is a "certified copy" of the birth certificate. The "original" is kept on file, so that certified copies can be issued. The foreign spouse's birth certificate is not needed with the I-130 filing but will be needed later at the NVC stage.

Does the child have a US passport? If not, you'll need the certified copy of the child's birth certificate to obtain a passport for him/her.
