Just want to ask if anybody can tell us what happen to our process because its says we need to wait 2-4 weeks after we received the NOA2 for the another case number its been 5 weeks now.

Were apply K1 visa after we received the NOA2 it says we need to wait for 2-4 weeks then we can get another case number from NVC its almost 6 weeks now is it normal?

Were trying to call NVC we cant get througyh and we will call again tonight.

Just keep calling until you get through (took us 20 times of constant ringing), and i am sure you will get your case number!

Well my fiance called from Cali around 9am his time and it was fairly easy to get through. Best time or not, just keep ringing until someone picks up

Our case was approved August 25th, still has no news from NVC, we have been calling, but NVC has not received our case yet.. Call at 4am PST monday-friday.. It's 7pm Philippine time Tuesday-Saturday...

Call the non immigrant phone line, you will get through easily

1-603-334-0888

or call the immigrant phone line 1-603-334-0700, if the voice prompt will say "thank you..." at first, hang up right away and call again, if it is a ring meaning your call went through, Don't wait for him, press 1, then 7, then 1, then wait, it will keep you on hold

it's frustrating but we are on the same boat.. It has been 43 days today since our case was approved but no case number yet...

You can scan a copy of your approval letter, send an email to

nvcresearch@state.gov

put your receipt number on the subject line, put the Beneficiary's name and DOB and Petitioner's name and DOB on the subject line and make a brief note that says what you want to say, like you have been calling NVC and it has been this long since you were approved but NVC has not given your case number yet, ask for help to locate your case.. It may take awhile for them to reply, on our case, I sent my first email on Sept, 25 but no reply yet until this point..

You can call USCIS to locate your case, demand to be transferred to Tier 2 agent, because they have the answers, if the agent that you are talking to will not connect you, hang up and call them again until you find an agent that will connect your call. Then if you are already talking to the Tier 2 agent, ask where is your case now, and when did they sent your case to NVC. I already did this and they told me, our case was just sent on Sept 30th, so i will wait for another 2weeks for nvc to receive and process it.
