We had the interview at Mount Laurel NJ today. Since we had already sent a lot of evidence from the 3 years of our relationship, our officer was pretty convinced from the start; so the interview was very smooth and did not even feel like an interview! We were only asked for the new medical form (it was expired).

We got the approval on spot and I got the application notification for "new card being produced" on the way back.

Can you please share a list of documents you prepared for Interview? My Interview is scheduled on 06/01

How do I know if my Medical form is expired? How do I get it renewed? Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of my medical form that I sent them because it was sealed in envelope by doctor.

Please advice.

Thanks

Thanks.

The documents we prepared were: new tax returns, new pay stubs, new set of pictures, updated health insurance and IDs (we had a change of address), and birth certificates.

However, they did not ask for any of this even though we had it all ready.

If your medical form is expired they will send you a mail asking you to bring an updated form to the interview. Yours must be fine.

Good luck!

Hi there,

I filed late in October from a K1 visa and got my EAD/AP combo card late in January. Then on 02/11 I received a Notice of Potential Interview Waiver letter saying that my case at the National Benefits Center was delayed and that I should here back within six months, ie mid-August, either to let me know that my case was approved or that I have to go an interview in the end. I've been following this forum entry and I was wondering if I'm the last October filer from a K1 visa still waiting for my GC. Has anybody got their GC after being sent the NPIW letter?

Thanks and good luck to everybody. Hope you all get your interview/GC soon.

We have very similar timelines. We're still waiting on the green card. We never received a npiw letter, though. We're still on the "fingerprint fee received" status and that's the last we've heard. :( Edited by Wooderz

Hi,

Yeah, I got the NPIW letter but the online status is till stuck on "fingerprint fee received" like yours. We are going on a trip back to Europe for a couple weeks in late June, so fingers crossed we're not called up for an interview while we're away. It seems that most K1s don't get one, although many seem they got their GCs already too. Well, at least it comforts me a wee bit to see that there are some of us still waiting. Thanks for answering, and good luck!

Update on my case:

I just called USCIS yesterday to follow up the status of my AOS. The guy whom I spoke with yesterday says no update yet and advised me to call back after 3 weeks. But this morning I got an sms that my interview has been scheduled on the 5th of July! ?

I think the call did help to update my case. I suggest for others to do call USCIS too.

Congrats on getting your interview date! That's great news! Did you receive by any chance a letter of potential interview waiver a few months ago? I got that letter and I hope I'm not scheduled to go for an interview this weeks, because I have a trip abroad planned for early July and it would totally suck to have to change my flights to come back early for that. Thanks.

Thank you. No, I didn't receive any potential interview waiver maybe because I didn't frontload my application with so much evidence. When did you file by the way? I noticed that the lady who filed few days earlier than me has just got her interview notice a week ago too. I hope your interview is really waived so you can have a peace of mind in your vacation :). Happy trip!

Thanks. I filed in on October 26 and the NPIW letter was dated from February 11. It said I should contact USCIS if I don't hear from them in six months, so August 11 is my deadline. I hope I won't hear from them before my July trip and who knows, perhaps I get my GC just after coming back. That would be nice. Good luck with your interview!
