No USCIS never sent me any email regarding the interview - it's a letter and for me it's a month prior to the interview (notice received on 2/25 and interview was scheduled on 03/30).

Hope it helps! Good luck!

Thank you so much for your response. ???

I did received SMS and email notification saying my interview was scheduled for the xxxxxx date and that I will get a notice in the mail.. (I turned on those notification options logging in the uscis website). I got the notice in the mail about 5 weeks before my interview date.. But I heard some people doesn't get the letter with that much time in advance.. Good luck to you

Thank you. I did turn on mine too. Fingers crossed! ?

Hey all,

My processing Center is in Newark, NJ and it says the following:

"Field Office Processing Dates for Newark NJ as of: January 31, 2016

Form Form Name Processing Timeframe:

I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status March 29, 2015"

Meaning they are currently processing only cases submitted on March 29th? :ranting:

I found that misleading and inaccurate.

Please refer to the following link for similar cases processed at Newark.

I don't trust that timeline. In Orlando it says that they are processing cases from July 2015 as of Jan 31, 2016. Just wait your time will come.

AOS FROM F1 VISA (2015-2016)

DAY 000 - 10/24 - sent i485, i130 and i765 (NO AP)

DAY 001 - 10/27 - received (priority date)

DAY 037 - 12/02 - i485 "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"

DAY 081 - 01/15 - sent electronic service request on i765. That same day was approved

DAY 086 - 01/20 - EAD was mailed to me.

I filed my AOS back in mid October and still haven't heard anything back! Am I still in the window for normal processing times? Do I need to schedule an info pass appointment? I've been so worried about my case in the past few weeks. I'm filing from NYC. Are other NYC filers experiencing the same delays om status change?

I also filed in mid-October, on the 16th, but I filed in Boston. My green card was approved without interview last week! It seems like they're getting to October cases now, so hold tight just a little while longer and maybe submit an inquiry in a couple of weeks.

Mine was filed October 23rd in SFO. I haven't heard anything back yet too. Status same as yours. Hold on tight, our judgement is near I hope!

My application was received on October 1st and has been stuck on the same status as yours. My local office is in Mt Laurel NJ and after calling USCIS they told me it is within normal processing time since my office is lagging behind. According to the most recent quarterly performance papers the NYC office is backlogged too.

That's my wife's FO office also. We submitted her AOS back in September 2015 and we haven't heard since. Although she did receive her AP & EAD but nothing on the AOS part. Kind of discouraging.

Waiting, waiting, waiting.... We want to go on a vacation at the end of June... Hope the interview will be scheduled before that.
