Basically, yeah. They will probably ask for your NOA1 for the EAD so might as well get that ready to send. Just explain that you've passed the processing time posted and want some help figuring out the status of your I-765.

I'm not really sure they can do much, but I don't see how it can hurt. Maybe it forces someone to look at your file and deal with it.

Alright just sent the congressman a email and hopefully something happens now ??

Thank you so much!!!

Waiting for any update about that....

Later today I'll call them though..

I required an expedite for both EAD and I-485.

I got my EAD in 10 days in the mail after filing it,but not updates for the other one...

Last update online was DEC 14.

Are there many October filers waiting for their green card interview date?

Filed my packet Oct 8, 2015. Got two RFE's for form I485, since then still no updates for my EAD ?

Have you submitted a service request? I got a RFE for I485 as well and I've responded this week. Have you responded to yours? When you say 2 RFE do you mean 2 request on the same letter or 2 separate letters. This is crazy. Thought my case was bad as I have an NOA date of 10/29/2015. Hope you hear something soon. This makes me depressed.

Chejemmie Timeline:

Hi Guys, I guess I'm a late entrant into the forum. I'm actually an early October filer still waiting to hear about my EAD. I filed for EAD, AOS and AP on 10/08/2015. I'm currently working on a H1B visa, Filed under F2A through my spouse. Had biometrics done on11/04/2015. Been waiting since. No RFE's. Have made 2 SR, most recent one about 10 days ago- I got a reply stating that I'll hear a decision soon. I guess all I can do is wait! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear about their cases.

Hey Chejemmie! I know it so frustrating really. And no I haven't done any service request, the RFEs I got were 2 separate letters. Received the first RFE last November 25. They want my husband's tax info for the year 2014. That one was my fault, for some reason I only sent the w2s not the whole tax return paperwork. And they also told me to get a joint sponsor which we did, even though my husband meets the minimum income. We sent the response to this one on January 8, my joint sponsor lives in CA and have a very hectic schedule. The second RFE they sent me was on January 15 asking for the joint sponsor's complete tax return info, we were missing the first page. Also, made a mistake on the joint sponsor's affidavit of support, she mistakenly put her current annual income in the box for the total annual household's income. Which is prolly why they're saying that the joint sponsor indicates to use household's income but was missing the form 864a for her husband. They want her husband to file for 864a which we still did sent too. We also include in the cover letter the explanation on the whole joint sponsor's affidavit of support fiasco. We mention that her income alone is enough and that her husband was unemployed since March of 2015 till now. It was sent last Friday and they received it Monday. Hopefully we will hear something about it very soon ???

Oh my! We're in the same boat. My RFE was for income as well, even though my husband meets the requirements. They also wanted a joint sponsor. You have to be so careful. My joint sponsor was going to use her household income but I told her she should only use hers or she'll need to do an i864a for her husband. I hope they look at your explanation. They also asked for proof of my legal status at the time of filing. I did include my F1 visa which expires in 2018, my entry stamp stating D/S, all my i20s and my I94 but they probably lost something. So I sent those again in addition to a letter from my ISO at the college. I'm still waiting to hear back about the RFE which they got on Monday as well, due to the blizzard in MD. I believe that these kinds of RFE delays EAD. All the best. You may message me privately, if you like.

Are there many October filers waiting for their green card interview date?

I just received a notice of potential interview waiver, with the caveat that my processing area is backed up and it could take six months for approval. So, back to waiting...

We are back from Ireland and Tim had no issues using his AP at US pre-clearance at the Dublin airport. We were prepared with all of our documentation but all he needed was his EAD/AP combo card.

Now we are just waiting for his interview on Feb 19th.

Best wishes to all of those still waiting!

I asked the same question in this forum and no one answered. . I've been wondering the same and looking for info about it but had no luck... I will have 3 months next week since my 485 case was updated to "cases ready to be scheduled for an interview " since November 2nd.. :/
