EAD in the mail...YAY!

Time for start looking for some jobs and to get driving license!! (btw it's ridiculous that I have to it all over again and cannot transfer it coz they only one "transferable" are French, German or South Korean ones....but oh well...)

anyways...any idea on where they are on GC processing?

We had to resend the taxes and the last update for us was DEC 14. We did an expedite for this as well but no movement...

Plus I don't see the I-485 timeline on VJ

thanks :)

PD 10/29/15. Late biometric 01/12/16. RFE few days later for I485. Replied earlier this week; no update on neither RFE nor EAD. Getting frustrated?

Hello VJs, We are planning a trip in April but need to book on Monday as we are travelling with a group of friends, my concern is, what name to use? my only ID now is my passport which has my former name , I was notified that my AP is approved last Jan 7 and hopefully my EAD too, I really want to use my married name in my ticket. Can I assume that by April I have my AP and EA and use the card as my ID and make my booking in my married name now without having it yet ? please enlighten me. thank you

There should not be a problem adding you on his insurance. I am currently enrolled through the aca on my wife's insurance. You have 90 days to provide paperwork as to your status in the US. I797,I-94, copy of visa uploaded right through the site.

Thank you so much for the info neoblast! :)

Are there many October filers waiting for their green card interview date?

I filed Oct 6th and my 485 case changed on Nov 2nd to "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" and no more news since then.. Do you know what's the usual processing time for the green card? When should we do a service request for it?

To avoid any problems it has been recommended to use the name that is on the passport, also bring a copy of your marriage license if you had a name change,
