Pd October 15th and up till now no ead. Anybody has field office in Lee summit Mo?

I believe all cases start in Lee Summit, which is the National Benefits Center (NBC) with a case number beginning with MSC. Your EAD/AP application will probably be worked through this office and then your GC application will either stay at NBC, or go to your local field office. You are at Dallas too? Dallas is one of the slowest (perhaps most congested) offices. I am hoping our case won't be stuck waiting for so long because of Dallas. Our case number isn't even showing up after waiting 22 days from our NOA date and we haven't gotten a biometric appointment. How was the biometric appointment in Dallas? Was it fast? How much time did they notify you in advance?

The biometric didn't take up to 20 min. And it went well. I sent a service request yesterday and hope i hear soon. When is your priority date?

and New Card is being produced.

We are super happy but i have a quick question..what happens next? can we expect a card (2 yr Temp GC or ead) in mail or do we need to go to an interview.

We have only received the NOA's for GC, AP and EAD. I don't believe they have priority dates on them. Do they show up on the biometric letter?

Congrats!! I think you get conditional GC without the need of an EAD. You shouldn't have an interview, but when you ROC, you may have interview.

Thank you but What's ROC?

Removal of Conditions - when your GC comes to one of those dates (I haven't looked too closely at this process yet) you apply for ROC within the 90 days BEFORE this date (anniversary date, I think? But on GC, not anniversary date of your marriage) so as to avoid deportation proceedings. I think then you send in relationship evidence and could have an interview to ensure the relationship was/is valid. This is great, because we were not granted an SSN when we applied, so adding my husband to stuff has been hard or impossible. I think the GC letter you should be receiving will explain your ROC requirements more. I think I have read that ROC can take a while and that some have applied for naturalization before their ROC has been completed!

Hello VJ members. Please help! I just received my pink letter rfe. Says I need a joint sponsor or additional assets and proof of my legal status at the time of filing. Though this is straightforward request, I suspect that the officer looked at 2014's tax return and not the annual income for 2015 based on 6 months worth of paystubs and 2 job letters. Has anyone else experienced the same thing? Please share.

In terms of the proof of legal status at time of filing, I sent 2 I-20s as proof of my student status and my I-94. I also sent copies of my entry stamp, as well as my F1 (expires in 2018) and B2 visas. Can someone explain this? what else can I send to prove that I was in lawful status as the time of filing?

Thank you
