Yay! Congratulations! That's great news!

Okay...my question to the experts. Is there a difference between the "My case is approved" status and the "My card is being produced" status? My case jumped immediately (as far as I could tell) to the "My case is approved" status and hasn't changed. Should I be worried that my card is not being produced? This process has made me paranoid about all the things that could go wrong...ha ha..

Tim's went the following

Text/Email - We ordered your new card - 2015-12-28

Text/Email - We approve your Form I-765 - 2015-12-30

Text/Email - Card was mailed to me - 2015-12-31

Received approval in mail - 2016-01-05

Received combo card in mail - 2016-01-06

Now it shows that it has been delivered with a tracking number for USPS. What would have been nice is if they gave us the tracking number with the card was mailed to me message. This way you could track it coming to you. Oh well. Another crazy thing with this process.

Hope this helps.

Now I can stop worrying!!

AOS. approved for daughter in law today in Santa Ana.

No questions asked other than the questions on the I485 form.

Didn't want to see any additional evidence at all...in fact she said no need to even bring all that stuff....made me smile, because if they hadn't gone prepared, it could have been a huge issue!

Got in to interview at 12:35pm and back at the car by 12:48pm!

DIL Verdict: anti-climactic!

Status already updated to approved!

11/2/2015: Not tuned in enough to Social Security not to pick "the first day of the month" to try to get signed up. Read VJ advice, it's spot on, we had a processor who knew K1. We were in the SAVE database in 3 days so it was easy after a 2 hour wait.
11/21/2015: MARRIED IN GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK

7/19/2016 The USCIS.GOV is now working for our AOS application. Is there light at the end of the tunnel? Seems others have access to USCIS.GOV Check Case now. Glitch fixed?
