Wahooooooo EAD/AP got approved 31st! Hopefully you all hear something this morning too! Even with my RFE it didn't get slowed down!

Bummed I wasn't someone to skip the line for interviews, but happy I can very soon start working!

Good luck to those still waiting, looks like they will start getting a move on!

Congratulations! That makes me really hopeful for my case! I crossed the 75 day mark, so I put in a service request this morning. Hoping to hear good news soon!

Any ideas how long it takes from "your (EAD) case was approved..." Notification (email) to actually receiving it in your hand is?? Thanks!

Our EAD was approved 12/22 and we received the card on 12/31 -- so 9 days for us.

Has anyone who is AOS from visa waiver (aka not a K1) received an interview date or GC approval?

I feel like everyone who has been approved without an interview is adjusting from K1, rightfully so as you've already been interviewed.

I'm adjusting status from a j1 visa not subject to the 2 year rule. It's been 90 days and the only update I've gotten is the one from 11/02 for 485 saying they're ready to schedule an interview. No update about ead yet.. I asked my lawyer and told me it can take up to 120 days to get work permit and that I don't need to ask about my case to uscis unless I don't get it in 120 days.. I'm just so frustrated. . I don't know what to do. Any similar case in here? Any advice ?

Not yet Longrangeshootr :/.. I'm just confused because I don't know if I should call since the lawyer said not to yet and wait for 120 days but at the same time I'm desperate to call and have some news about my case. This lawyer is not that helpful and kinda rude so I don't like to deal with him nor ask him questions so much. Any idea if I can still call even lawyer says not to? He is the one who filled out all my forms and his name is in the forms too as the person who filled the forms. I don't know if he will find out I called ? I wouldn't want him to know :/

Thank you so much for your advice Longrangeshootr! I'm sorry to keep bothering you but could you please tell me about your experience when you called? Like how long did the call last? Did you talk to a real person? What did you say you needed? I just don't know what to say when I call :/.. also, do you know from what time to what time I can call?
