Woke up n see great update!

My status for I-485 is charged to "Card Was Mailed To Me"

"On December 28, 2015, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx, to the address you gave us. "

We just got a text that Tim's EAD and AP were approved!!!! Very happy news so we can now go see his son!!!! Hope everyone receives some good news soon.

Hi guys, i just noticed a strange thing on our status online. Our EAD receipt number shows the card has been mailed to us. But our AP receipt number just shows as case approved. We already received the combo card so i'm guessing only the ead receipt number was important since it's a combo card once your case has been approved? Just fyi for everyone still waiting for there EAD/AP

I'm guessing that's true (since the cards are combined). Ours says the same thing. ;) I do know that they basically adjudicate both together because of the combo card. This is the gov't. Their systems are never quite where they should be with certain information. LOL.

10/08/2015: AOS packet sent to USCIS (Chicago lockbox) via USPS Priority mail (They received it 10/10/15).

10/16/2015: Text/eEmails received from USCIS with receipt number. We received 3.

10/22/2015: Received hard copies of NOA's for I-131, I-765, & I-485.

11/01/2015: Got NOA for biometrics appt (for 11/12/15).

11/03/2015: Did WALK IN biometrics appt - took 15 mins. Person taking said work permit should be in mail in less than 4 wks.

12/09/2015: Got email/text notification for INTERVIEW date.

12/28/2015: Got email/text notification EAD card has been mailed.

12/31/2015: Received EAD/AP card.

01/11/2016: INTERVIEW (in Los Angeles office).

01/11/2016: Case in in "CONTINUANCE". Awaiting approval. (Feels like AP).

06/27/2016: I-485 APPROVED - (FINALLY!!!) / 264 DAYS (8 MONTHS 20 DAYS)

07/01/2016: GREEN CARD RECEIVED

i was worried for awhile thinking we might only get the ead card without ap :( Luckily it was really a combo card when it arrived. Just fyi for everyone else waiting. :)

sent aos just about october 15th i think, got aos on 23rd. did my biometrics on the 19th of nov. still no ead and tbh considering i cant get a rivers license or a job because of it im starting to get a bit miffed

Felling the same way as you mate. Looks like our timelines are about the same. (for some reason I entered my dates slightly off) so they got my stuff on Oct 21st, Bio on Nov 17th........So REALLY REALLY hoping to get something soon. This is going on for so long now, I can't take it. Especially seeing some others with no interview, but I know with our luck, we will have an interview!

So guys!! My EAD and AP has been approved on the 23rd of Dec and I had no Idea!! I had the USCIS app but I guess it didnt refresh properly! I only found out today soo yaaaay I can join you guys lol!

EAD was approved not too long ago! I wasn't lucky enough to bypass the EAD/AP part like a bunch of folks here, but at least it's a step in the right direction.
