I was really busy this morning so didn't have time to check my phone ....finally checked like an hour ago n guess what happened!!

My I-485 status was changed to "new card is being produced"

Whole time I was waiting for my I-765&I-131 to be approved but guess my GC will come first :)

This is one of my great Christmas Present!!!

Good Luck everyone who's waiting....I'm sure good news will come to all and hoping for that too!

If you keep checking all three cases, you will see the day they mail the card out, the I-485 case number gives you a tracking number for the postal service. The other two cases will say they were terminated.

12/18 approved

12/21 card was mailed

12/22 card picked up by postal service ( and that is where the tracking number is )

Tracked it and it said it was picked up in Corbin Kentucky on the 22nd at 3:00 P.M.

From there to Knoxville, Tennessee and then to Boston , Ma.

Arrived at the sorting facility 23rd at 10:00 A.M.

Now at the last sorting facility in Massachusetts it needs to go to before being sent to our town.

I wasn't checking regularly because my wife didn't apply for EAD/AP. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quick approval. (Must have missed being produced).

Seriously ticked off - received the RFIE today for both AP and EAD.

They said name discrepancy. (forms were completed in married name and a copy of marriage certificate was attached to each application, along with copy of passport, I94 and anything else that was requested.

Requesting copy of marriage certificate (which they already had) and/or divorce certificate (though o prior marriages!) along with an affidavit describing name change.

I seriously cannot believe their ineptitude!

Strangely no RFIE or RFE for AOS and yet that same stuff was all in that package too.

Let's hope interview goes smoothly on Jan 8......
