Hope you get the AP quickly and can be there to support SIL! That's a big deal....

Weird thing is that we never received RFE of any kind for I-485 and it's been scheduled for interview so now I'm worried in case something comes up at interview that we haven't prepared for. What time is your AOS apt? Will you be able to travel back by 8th?

There is very little to send in support of AP and EAD so I can't think what it could possibly be - especially since it seems not to have affected 485!

Feeling discouraged! We received NOA1 on October 2nd, and we haven't had an update since. Trying to stay patient and optimistic, but we'd really like to receive at least the EAD so my husband can work.

Our appmt is for 1/8 at 2pm. We're going to definitely have to reschedule since my wife won't be back till the end of Jan.

Who know's it could be anything... What documents did you submit? It should pretty much be:

I-765 Application For Employment Document

• 2 passport photos of beneficiary (attached with a paper clip to Form I-765 and signed)

• Copy of beneficiary’s passport (Bio ID page, K1 Visa page, recent I-94)

I-131 Application For Travel Document

• Copy of beneficiary’s passport (Bio ID page, K1 Visa page, recent I-94)

• 2 passport photos of beneficiary (attached with a paper clip to Form I-131 and signed)

At least this is what we submitted... i guess we also included the I-1145 email/text form but that's optional.

yep that was what we submitted!

Maybe it's for a bad photocopy or something simple!!

I feel the same Mondix! It's really incredible how slow they are. And I honestly cannot understand why some EAD applications are approved really quickly and others take so long (Some of them with real family problems like we see in this post).

But I guess is how this system works.

I really do feel you...

After I graduated school, I never stopped working....sometimes I worked day and night so this is really first time that I'm sitting at home everyday n it started kinda irritated me but I can't do anything...all I can do is to wait.

We have seminar timeline so hopefully we both can get approved in this week.

Last Friday I ask for a "Service Request" as my EAD application has been pending more than 75 days.

it's odd and sad that there seems to be no logic to their processing at all.

Big surprise here. Filed for AOS from K1 on 10-15 and just received word that our i-485 was approved and green card is being produced. Totally skipped over our AP and EAD applications; no interview. We called to confirm this and it is indeed the case...green card on the way. Good luck to all.

Hey friends!!!

I wanna share that today we received an update saying that the GC is in production!!!!!!!!! This is amazing folks...I was so desperate yesterday about my EAD.

I wanna thank God for this miracle and also all of you for your support. Good luck to everybody
