OMG!!! Just woke up to a notification "we approved your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status".

This is crazy! From what I could tell, it said on the long island time lines that it was around a year wait for I-485.

I was going so absolutely insane waiting for my EAD now I don't even need it I guess?

Hopefully they make the card and send it out quickly and this isn't an error lol

no Xmas gift for daughter-in-law. Checked online today and it says request for initial evidence mailed December 19th for both AP and EAD applications. We already had same request for I-485 - why on earth couldn't they send them all at that same time 6 weeks ago!

I have zero idea what it could be for.

4 June 2005 CPR 2-year Green Card arrives in mail

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS - 3½ MONTHS

8 May 2007 - I-751 sent to CSC - 23 August 2007 - Approved - Card production ordered

Anybody knows if there is any kind of delay with the EADs?? I am a Oct-2 filler (Oct-7 NOA1) and still no approval... Isn't it a pretty automatic process for AOS petitioners?

I have no idea what I messed up when I prepared their paperwork but we're still plodding on!. received request for initial evidence email.....why they couldn't have done that when they sent one for the I-864, I have no idea! SO probably at least another month for daughter-in-law! Now worried about AOS Interview in case something comes up that I messed up with that!! LOl

Hope that means travel is guaranteed now for seeing your family.

thanks! We're still praying we receive the actual combo card before 1/1 though since we flight leaves at 8pm on jan 1. Sis in law just started chemo for her breast cancer so hopefully everything will still be ok by the time she gets there. :( Worst case we might have make another info pass and see if we can get the paper AP printed for us.

Definitely keep an eye out for the RFE letter. They have been known to send them by error too. Our RFE had requested info for a secondary sponsor but we only filed for one! It was definitely a mistake on there end. I just resubmitted my tax paperwork and wrote a letter to them stating we believed the RFE was sent in error. I guess it was accepted since we did get our I-485 scheduled for interview.
