My AP got approved today - 51 days since filling

But no biometrics appointment letter :(((

I thought the EAD and AP were on a combination card? Or I thought that at least the two were typically approved together?

My AP got approved today - 51 days since filling

But no biometrics appointment letter :(((

Congrats!!!

At least 1 is over :)

I filed around the same day of yours so hopefully it comes to me soon!!

That's what I was thinking but I don't know if they can approve EAD with out having biometrics done

I'm a month ahead of you and no biometric appointment yet.

For some reason post office returned 2 pieces of mail on 11/17 so maybe that was it but when I call they are not able to tell me what was the letter for and that they have 30 days to send it :ranting:

Oh, wow! I hope you didn't miss it. Guess it's normal then. Good luck to you, call USCIS to make sure it wasn't already scheduled.

Based on timeline data, your EAD may be adjudicated between December 14, 2015 and December 18, 2015*.

10/08/2015: AOS packet sent to USCIS (Chicago lockbox) via USPS Priority mail (They received it 10/10/15).

10/16/2015: Text/eEmails received from USCIS with receipt number. We received 3.

10/22/2015: Received hard copies of NOA's for I-131, I-765, & I-485.

11/01/2015: Got NOA for biometrics appt (for 11/12/15).

11/03/2015: Did WALK IN biometrics appt - took 15 mins. Person taking said work permit should be in mail in less than 4 wks.

12/09/2015: Got email/text notification for INTERVIEW date.

12/28/2015: Got email/text notification EAD card has been mailed.

12/31/2015: Received EAD/AP card.

01/11/2016: INTERVIEW (in Los Angeles office).

01/11/2016: Case in in "CONTINUANCE". Awaiting approval. (Feels like AP).

06/27/2016: I-485 APPROVED - (FINALLY!!!) / 264 DAYS (8 MONTHS 20 DAYS)

07/01/2016: GREEN CARD RECEIVED

I already called the USCIS but still my application is pending and I have to call them back if I didn't receive any notice on my 75th day to 90th day of this month. I still have 15days or more to wait.:-(

I have called before I applied for i131, for emergency only", they said that for i 485 applicant they issue AP as process usually take longer than usual processing time. That emergency only is for some particular case. If you read instruction, its confusing.

My travel arrangements are made for Dec, I am not sure I am gonna get AP. I have sent copy of my travel arrangements with i131 application. Planing to call them next week, in case they speed up the process.

Did you contacted them for AP?

no i havent but i will if i dont hear by next week!

I have contacted them about expedite process for AP due to my planned travel arrangements. They can only expedite if the reason fall between their given areas. So far, I have to wait for my AP with regular process.

11/03/2015 - (Receipt # received in eMail - SMS for all three)

11/23/2015 - Biometric Done

04/04/2016 - Case updated for Interview, Interview in MidMay @ Tampa,FL

05/13/2016 - Interview (Approved, IO told about receiving paperwork in a week)
