I haven't heard anything since doing my biometrics on the 2nd of Nov and my status still says "fingerprints fee received etc" *sigh*

Done with Biometric, it was smooth but waited 1h15m for it.

Let hope AP comes fast, as I am flying on Dec 11. Also I have sent my travel arrangements with my i131. Hope that speed up process.

Had my RFE, apparently they wanted my foreign birth certificate, which I'm 99.9% sure I put in the original packet. Anyone else had this kind of experience?

Well, I've sent that in now (both the long and the short copy you get in the UK), and also done my Biometrics.......

Any idea when I should see that magical 'ready to interview' on the website??

you can sent a copy, based on what is written on a guidelines but some people sent the original copy or authenticated copy just to make sure. In some case they accepting only a copy but some they're asking for original copy/authenticated copy of BC. So it all depends who's handling our case.

we didn't need to show our marriage license for biometrics.... all we needed was the appmt letter and passport

True ....although I didn't bring marriage certificate with me, I could. Cos I put my maiden name on middle name so they see my middle name and my passport name then it matched so they did biometrics.

But to be safe you should bring cos every place is different.

my daughter in law was turned away from her biometrics appointment because the name in her passport was not the same as the name on her biometric appointment letter!

They asked her to go and get a copy of her marriage certificate and return the same day to get her fingerprints done. Thankfully the vital records office was only a mile away so instead of driving 15 miles home to get it, we just drove a mile and paid for another copy! Then biometrics office got her in and out within 10 minutes!
