Also completed early walk in biometrics appointment today. Sat in waiting room for approx 30mins waiting for number to be called then actual appointment took no more than 5 minutes. Finger prints and photograph plus a few details such as height, weight, eye color etc...

haha the funny thing about the biometrics was when we had to fill out the height, weight and it seemed like everyone only knew the metrics system. The guy in front of us was from UK and another couple from china didn't know the US conversion either so the security guy just told us to write it in metrics lol. No cell phone are allowed to convert it :(

Note anyone going with their spouse will have to have the USC wait outside. They only allowed the person with the appointment to enter.

Not surprising the US and it's departments (guam etc) still use imperial for the most part. Metric is rarely used in the US, only in manufacture and medicine and science.

----
For me, It's better to let them know your new address even though you still in the same state because maybe soon during your interview, it will be ask by the interviewer. You can change address (Check the USCIS website on how to do it) or mailed them (via express mail if you can).. maybe there is no changes about the process as long as you let them know and your address must be written correctly.
Maybe soon, we may both the same situation because we'll move into other apartment then need to change address for the mails.

10/05 usps mail delivered

10/14 checks cashed

10/19 got 3 NOA for 485, 131 and 765 under my name and the NOA for 130 under my husband's name. It says in all the notices that our applications were received on 10/6 and the notice date is 10/13.

10/23 received biometric appointment for 11/5 at USCIS Chatsworth, CA

10/28 I tried walk in and they let me do biometrics at uscis Chatsworth, CA ☺..

I'm kinda nervous though because some of my fingers are deformed and the man who did my fingerprints was having a hard time getting the fingerprints right. Just praying that they go through ok and that I don't have to go back again. ?

11/02 just got this update for my 485 application:

Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

As of November 2, 2015, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I'm surprised how fast I got this... Anyone else got this update already? ?

You must acquire everything they need as soon as possible so that the processing will not be delayed. did you receive a pink letter?don't panic or get frustrated, as they said once they send you RFE,as long as that is not a fixed marriage or whatsoever.. you can prove it that your relationship is eligible. So, they give you that chance. Therefore, do your RFE as soon as possible though there is dateline.

Congrats ??

Hi Liz,

Did you get a text notification of this or just check your status online?

Hi smcf333.

My lawyer didn't send the form to get text/email so I downloaded the uscis App from the android market on my phone and I got the update notification from it. Then I checked the uscis website to make sure and it states the same.

Congrats ??

Thank you TravandLhen ☺
