Hi Everyone

My question is with my USC husband's income..

He is receiving a ss disability benefit monthly, can he put this as his current individual annual income(part 6 #2 of i 864)? Since he is not working right now.

Also is the letter from ss office stating that he is getting the said benefit enough evidence that he is not required to file tax?(because he did not file tax for year 2014 only, since he started with this benefit.)

Thanks in advance

By the way we have a joint sponsor.

SS disability benefit is not an income that can be use to sponsor so ignore that on the form and write a letter explaining why he didn't file tax 2014.with you joint sponsor you should be fine as long as he/she meet or over the poverty guildline.

Thank you mat_buky!

So do I put 0 to his current annual income?

And do I still need to send that letter we've got from the ss office with regards to the monthly benefit he's getting?
