Well we are on our way one hurdle down a few more to go….

I just received an e-mail this morning that our Visa was approved and that they mailed the notice out on the 28th of February. Our case was touched a couple of times last week which of course got me excited. Then when I got to work this morning I checked my mail and there were 3 e-mails, my heart jumped, thinking they might be requesting more information. But all three were identical; your petition for Fiancé (E) has been approved and mailed.

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all here at visa journey, I might not post a lot but I spend a lot of time reading and the information provided here priceless.

Congrats, if u need my mailing addy to send me bag loads of $$$ please just ask. I promise to share half with CutinePurg!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I'm so amazed...I got the email and they tell you it's in the mail so of corse I keep checking the mail and checking the mail and finally I got it yesterday...the 7th, post marked the 5th.... and they tell you in the email to follow the directions...lol There are no directions just what will happen next. Weird...I hate the hurry up and wait game, I'm not very good at it...

Thanks again everyone...Marg

Are you sure you don't want Canadian Tire Bucks, Jim has an ashtry full of them...

LOLOOLOL

we got Canadian Tire money as a wedding gift from one of our smart assed American friends.... he fishes at Lake Simcoe and when he made a purchase at CT a few winters ago he didnt understand the concept of CT$ and thought they were trying to rip him off with the change. He told them to stick up their you know what and walked out. Ive been busting on him about it ever since. I had planned to put CT$ in his birthday card last summer but he beat me to the punch.

I had a stash of my own but my hubby found it and stole it , the #######.
