we have got nearly got all the paperwork sorted and money but was wonderign about medical

was wondering if we can send the forms off before going for medical (as heard it will cost 250-450 dollers)

then in a few weeks time (will take 3-6 weeks to find 300-400 dollers)then

can we send it (i hear they send you a letter to get it doneif not sent the medical form)just wonderign whats the best way

ok i got alot of my vaccinations when was a kid at school in england

i cannot proof than but got the scars for them (mmr) one etc

would i have to have that them agion ??

and whats the best way and cheapest of getting a medical or finding out what vaccinations i

have had without paying a fortune for them

and anyone know a cheap civil surgen in detroit area

any help would be great ty

You can send it ahead, but expect to receive an RFE if the medical/vaccination info is missing.

David did not have a record of his vaccs from the UK either. His general physician drew his blood and tested his titres. He only needed to update his tetanus.

You can go to your county health dept for your vaccines... cost is usually on a siding scale based on income.

But you'll need your medical/chest x-ray done by a civil surgeon, as you know. We're in MI but David had his medical overseas and we mailed his vaccination info to a civil surgeon in TX to transcribe his records to an I-693a, so I can't help with a referral. Definitely call around though. Rates are all different.

Get your medical done before you file if you can... call around all the civil surgeons in your area and get the best price for the full medical... I was able to get mine done for $120.00 I went to the local health dept clinic for my shots and paid $15.00 for them all... I too did not have any record of my shots and it was quicker to just have them all than wait for blood tests to find out what I needed....

If you wait to send in the medical you will get a RFE and it will hold up your EAD and AOS... so if you can do it first even if it means waiting a week or two to send it all in...

Oh and save yourself some money Do Not file for AP as a VWP entrent it is not a good idea to leave the US until you have a greencard in hand....

what is a titres does that tell you what i need?? for vaccinations

or what vaccinations i have had

and could i get that at the wifes doctors?

money is tight at the moment so cheapest way the better

The cost of the Blood tests to see what anti-bodies I had was going to cost more than having all the shots again so I asked ifthere was any risks involved with having same shots more than once and was told no as long as it has been more than 3 years since I last had them... It was way more than 3 years and other than 2 sore arms for 2 days I was fine... I had 6 shots and the polio drops it all came to $15.00 where I was quoted at $8.00 for each blood test and I would need them all...
