RFE --late

On 9/25, I received a RFE email. I have been waiting for the letter to see what info is it that is required, But the letter has not come in yet. I call And they say they can not Tell me what it Is, And that i must wait 15 days before they can mail out another letter.

Anyone had any luck Where a representative can Tell them over the phone what the RFE Is..?

You'll have to wait for the letter. However, think about what you packet included. I mean it can be anything from missing a birth certificate or marriage certificate. which by the way must be inextensa and legalizada also translated and certified. Proper 2x2 pictures ? legal US status proof. Also, you coould have missed a box in one of the forms. Did you make a copy of your entire i130 packet? You can go back to it just to get peace of mind or start getting something that you know u missed.

Overall do not stress, once you recieve letter and know what it is, just respond EXACTLY for what they ask for and return in a timely manner. Usually, after RFEs, they send acceptance notices rather quick.

I'm in the same boat. My RFE was supposedly sent on 9/26 but hasn't arrived in Massachusetts yet. It's a long time to wait for a letter that's only coming from Texas! And I'm going out of the country tomorrow morning so now it'll be another week before I respond even if it arrives while I'm gone! It's frustrating.

Sooo i finally received The RFE from TSC, 10/10/15. Their email stated it was mailed On 9/25, But their letter Is actually dated 9/30.

They are asking for My husbands(beneficiary) birth certifícate. Of course i did not include it, no Where On The i-130 instructions nor in visa journey does it say To include The beneficiary BC. Luckily i have a good copy here, i have To have it translated on Monday And hopefully an approval Will come soon after.

Sucks. I Agree w/ you though, I dnt think I read in the I130 instructions to include BC and also on the VJ guides its states that it is no longer needed. However! I read many people who included it, asked someone who went through the process and also saw ppl getting RFEs because of these. so I decided to include one.

I know you mentioned you had a copy at home. Please make sure that copy is inExtensa & legalizada - or else you'll end up getting another RFE.
