I am cr1 , we payed the the aos as a first step, but now we are not sure what to do? Some say we have to send a package and some say we need to fill ds-260 first!! I am confused with what to do!!??

DS 260 is the very last thing you'll do.

Did you fill out the DS-261? Follow the guides and they'll lead you down the correct path:

Yes we did sign an agent and payed the aos! But i dont know whats next?

If you have done the Ds-261 choice of agents form and paid the AOS fee then you should send in both the AOS and the IV packets together. You will need the document checklist from the NVC welcome letter and the Bar code code cover sheet. or you can print a barcode cover sheet from the AOS payment portal. Send both packets together to the same address.

After you send your packets it could take 30 days or more for them to review your packets. that is one part of the NVC process is reviewing of the packets

The second part of the process is reviewing of the DS-261 choice of agent form ,paying the fees and filling out the DS-260 form. This can be done while you are waiting for them to review your documents. First thing is your DS-261 form needs to be review and added to your case as the IV fees will not show. If the NVC has not review it yet you can call and have them do it over the phone. After they review it then you can pay the IV fee, then fill out the ds-260 visa application form

Although everyone is here to help and will answer any question you have, , the best way to handle it is to read the guides. It has a clear outline of the entire process step by step and breaks it down so it's not overwhelming.

You need to start assembling two different packages : AOS & IV. Once the AOS fee shows as paid print the receipt page sheet twice and attach it to both packages with your cover letter listing what's being sent. While doing that start calling NVC and asking them to review the DS 261 over the phone.
