Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law?

My wife is applying for her parents that are more Mexico. However, there is a question in the DS-260 that reads;

Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law?

Technically speaking they don't have this documentation because according to them, back when they were young there was not good record keeping of this type of things even if they did get all vaccinations. So they have to answer "NO" which then the application prompts them to write an explanation. What should they write?

Would this affect them with the visa? Because the lettering at the top of the application reads the following:

NOTE: Provide the following security and background information. Provide complete and accurate information to all questions that require an explanation. A visa may not be issued to persons who are within specific categories defined by law as inadmissible to the United States (except when a waiver is obtained in advance). Are any of the following applicable to you? A YES answer does not automatically signify ineligibility for a visa. Please note that should you answer Yes to any of the following questions, you may be requested to provide documentation to support your explanation.

No why should it affect anything..i don't have any records or haven't even done much vaccines we just said that I have done it in Pakistan and I have no record of it. Just write whatyou have said here explain it better

In my case, I put NO.

A lil pop up page asked me why i haven't had this vaccinations:My explanation was that I will get them done before I come to the embassy for the interview.

Remember that she will be doing her medicals b4 interview and all of those vaccinations will be given to her.

Thank you for your advise. I've decided to go with the "No" option, and fill out the explanation that it will be done prior to the interview at the medical appointment which is before the interview.
