Is it unusual not to get a NOA1 in the snailmail or email? I notice a lot of posters get them. I never received any hard copy of the NOA1 or an email. They did cash my check and I am tracking it on the website though...but no touches. Just curious.

I noticed there are threads for filers in certain months but I don't see a March one yet, and it is March 1st! Our I-129F petition is going to be sent in in a few days so I guess we are March filers! It took us a month to get everything together and we are just about ready to file. :) I'm hearing that since we're going through Vermont our waiting time will probably be quicker than most, but I did read something else on the USCIS web-site (it said something about the processing time for people who filed in March not getting the visa until August 21, so we were thinking I'd get it in late August or September - though I do hope we get it earlier!!) and though I think you guys are probably right, I'm trying not to get my hopes up. BTW, I am from Ottawa and he is in New Jersey. (Why is the spelling for the Ottawa consulate wrong - Ottawa is not spelled Ottowa! ;-))

I guess I am one of ya'll....This site has helped alot. Thanks...Will keep posting as my timeline moves forward!!!

Hey March filers :)

How is the waiting going? The Vermont people can call themselves lucky, some of them might have the NOA2 already. Well at least we know they are working on our case the positive thing about the waiting time: It is going to be the last time in your home country :)))

Help!! :help: My phone bills are sky-rocketing. I spend 10 hours a week chatting. All I can think about is my fiancee and the day she will be here with me. It seems like it is taking forever and a day! I miss her so much. I am going to see her to be engaged in June, but I will get only seven days with her. This waiting and filing for a VISA is the most nerve-racking and stressful experience I have ever been through.:wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko:

I've been in a few long-distance relationships, and usually it seems like the pain wears off with time. I just go kind of numb, or something. This time, the pain is only getting worse. I MISS MY FIANCE SO MUCH! I'm going crazy here, hoping that by some stroke of luck, I'll be one of those random lucky people who file at CSC at get approved in 60 days.
