Additional Evidence requested

We have received letter requesting for additional evidence of physical meeting of between me and my fiance, but we want to apply for waiver under waiver option number 2, as it against our customs and traditions to meet in person with each other , other then our day of our engagement. we have pictures for that day, but we dont meet other than that .

So is it ok to apply for waiver, or will that create issue ? i want to mention that we met online and after 8 or 9 months we told our families about this relationship and our families arranged our engagement.

You can send pictures, passport stamps, tickets and any conversations on the phone like whatsapp, viber and skype etc to show that you met in person. You can get affidavits by friends and family explaining the relationship between two of you.

I am planning to send them pictures again,

I will also send my fiance passport copy of her entry in pakistan ( where i live )

I already sent them skype, whatsapp viber conversations, but its not of any use according to them.

I can get many affidavits from family and friends , but i dont have any idea about the format or anything regarding affidavits

Yes, send the passport stamps and photos, receipts from anything that puts you in the same place at the same time.
For heavens sake do not get yourself denied by sending a waiver request.

The waiver is for 'not being able to meet the requirements to have met within the last 2 years'.

You already fulfilled that requirement, you have met once. Now send proof of meeting as mentioned above.

Then be ready to explain to the embassy why you have not been able to meet more than once and bring lots of evidence and

affidavits from family and your religious leader attesting to that rule.

Be ready to explain why you couldn't have met with a chaperon present.

Whatever you say back it up with written evidence. Have lots of communication evidence.

There is no waiver for not being able to meet more than once, however you can include a letter narrating the issue and include evidence

for not spending more time together and you should do this now for USCIS as well as the embassy, which would be front loading via RFE

so that the CO will have seen all evidence submitted in your file before the interview.

we never though this way, you are right , waiver must be for people who are not able to to meet in last two years, i will send them proof of that one meeting and i have all the communication with us . I will also send them statement why we have met only once.

I met my US fiance only once for two weeks as well during all of our relationship. I sent photos, passport stamps, boarding pass, tickets, the receipt of the engagement ring, receipts of the restaurants, movies etc and I got approved on the spot.

Just send them any and all material that confirms your meeting.

Sarfaraz, Please keep it simple as other member has mentioned above. They need evidence in the form of picture that shows you guys were together and yes you have that picture of your engagement ceremony. Make sure right it down behind the picture who is who and the date. If possible get the color copies of your fiancee's passport entry / exit stamp of Pakistan Immigration, boarding pass will also helpful. Make sure to have color copies. You can also include the proof of ongoing relationship on WhatsApp, Viber, Facebook, and Skype make sure to take the screen shots and all color prints. Make sure to have a cover letter as well which gives the list of all the evidence one by one. Don't ask for waiver which is going to be denied and your petition will also be denied.
