Even though my ex holds no Parental Responsibility and has no contact, he has agreed to sign a document to say he's willing for my daughter to leave with me as I've been worried the consulate would ask for this at our interview.

Can someone please tell me if this will need to be notorised? I emailed the consulate last week but they never responded.

Thanks

Yes it will need to be notarized. I paid a lawyer to issue my daughters father with the letter he needed to get notarized. They will also need to see the childs birth cert so make sure the other parent has one to take along.

You also need along with the notarized letter a signed photocopy of the other parents passport.

Hope this helps. Gooduck!

He is not registered on her birth certificate but as he is coming with me to the notory that won't be an issue. I assumed as much that it would need to be notorised etc.

Thanks for you reply much appreciated
