Tax Return amendment needed?

Hello!

Our marriage date is December 31,2014. I filed my tax returns in April 2015 but filed as single and my accountant didn't point out this error. Ugh!

However now we're at the NVC stage and gathering tax info for me, the sponsor. I know I can't file as single and will be fixing this but how big of an issue will This be at the NVC reviewing stage?

I'm going to see if I can file a 1040x for amendment and fix single status issue. Will including this 1040X form to show I'm fixing the issue, along with the 2014 tax return and transcript be okay for NVC? Or will this lead to checklist, or worse denial of visa at interview?

Not a big deal in terms of visa approval. Amending it can't hurt. It won't be an issue until the interview stage, if at all.
