Yeah I have seen that site before looking for ketchup chips once. Also there's the http://www.humptydumpty.com/prodline/prod_...hickenchips.htm site too that shows their interesting brands of chips. I guess people here just aren't into the extreme different flavors at all.

Doritos are about the only one, and they're other types are pretty much the same. Extreme, spicy, lime and salsa and most just taste pretty much the same...

you think Canada has a lot of flavours for chips? Check out the flavours from the UK! http://www.britishdelights.com/Crisps.htm

and that link only shows a few flavours that they import!

the last time I was home I stopped in at a candy store down in the Beaches and they have Walkers crisps. They had some Lamb and and curry and something else really weird.

But at nearly $3 CAD I thought that was just a bit much and bought some chocolate instead.

Fries and gravy flavour! OMG. I want those. I wonder how I can get some. Well...my best bet is probably just when I go to Canada this summer. I can't wait. Yay! Thanks for the link. :)

PLease, please, please..Leave your bagged milk in Canada...

:lol::lol::lol:

This just made me laugh... Reminds me of that first time he came to montreal, I asked him if he wanted a glass of milk..So I took the milk bag out...

That look on his face :o "what the F....is that?!?!?!"

That moment was priceless. But i wont miss the milk bags that much, if anybody knows about Oberweis's milk in the Chicago suburbs area, now that is good milk, and cottage cheese and ice cream as well.

My list - Cheese curds (fresh and warm) and Poutine

I bought a 2kg bucket of poutine sauce powder mix, anytime!

I'm a huge milk drinker..When I moved to Canada, the bagged stuff was all I could find. I didn't know there was a pitcher that that bag fit in nicely and which the milk could be poured..With that said, picture southern me, a pair of scissors in one hand trying to hold that damn bag to snip the corner, and then trying to pour it into my own container without spilling it all over my counter..damn that pissed me off because it seemed more of it was on the counter than in my container...most times out of frustration, I would snip the corner, try to pour myself a glass from the floppy a$$ bag and then rather than transfer to my container, I would just lay the bag snipped side up on a plate in my refrigerator. After cleaning many spills from counters and floors, I eventually did my transferring in the bathtub, so when I spilled, all I had to do was turn on the shower and wash it away...It wasn't until I was telling my story to a coworker that I was informed of the cool little pitchers...

so there you have it, a southern boy lost in Canada...

That is way too funny.. I still remember the first time I told my USC husband about milk in bags.. All he could imagine was someone walking home from the grocery store and a bee coming along and stinging the bag and that person having to run home before all the milk ran out.. He was laughing very hard about it.. I had a hard time explaining to him that (a) a be wouldnt likely sting a bag of milk.. and (B) that the plastic was likely too thick for a bee to successfully sting through it really easily.. anyways he found it funny...

One other thing that I have not managed to find with much success here in the US is gravy mix to add to meat juices.... I did find Bisto the other day, but only in the "British" section of one of the larger chains.. otherwise they only have the ones that you add water to... I miss Bisto.. I have yet to try the one I found here...

And of course, ketchup chips, smarties, milk in bags... stuff without HFCS.. Robin Hood anything.. Bick's Pickles items (not too difficult for me though.. My dad works there..) The SoySauce (its different here.. I used to use VH.. ) and definately Swiss Chalet.. I miss it so much...

another reason I love Watkins products! Their Soup & Gravy mixes are very very yummy :)

I never used Bisto back home, we used GraVee, and I bought some and have it here, but I actually prefer the Watkins now. Less salt.

And that would not be because you sel it eh? lol I love the watkins "cow salve" Stuff is great

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

So has anyone ordered from that british delights place yet? I'm curious about the shipping (couldn't find it). I know it comes from Massachusettes, but I wanted to place an order, but it wouldn't tell me what the shipping was for it. I thought I might try a mix of one of each weird chip flavor and several ketchup ones. So anyone know what they charge for shipping?

I haven't been able to get a sub at Subway with "sub sauce" . I just get a really strange look when I ask for it

I also haven't been able to find Tetley "round" teabags, except the odd specialty ones (earl grey, etc) Guess that's what I get when all they drink down there is cold tea :crying:

So, mine is Subway subsauce

Tetley "round" teabags

I don't think I'll miss the bag milked so much, lol

actually, its kinda the other way 'round. I sell the products because I like them so much. There's no high fructose corn syrup to be found in *any* Watkins products, and that's good enough for me!

I thought of another couple the other day...

Shake n Bake.. it tastes different here, I dont like it as much at all.. the "original" is completely bland.. nasty..

Plum Sauce.. I have not found it here anywhere.. maybe i am just no good at looking at the grocery store, but I haven't seen it.. Anyways it would have High Fructose Corn Syrup in it

I think they call it Duck Sauce here rather than plum sauce. My husband bought some duck sauce the other day, I tried it and said "bleah, I don't like plum sauce :P "
