Hi Everyone,

Good luck on your immigration journeys. Anyways, I've been reading the posts about Canadian foods and groceries, and I thought it would be fun to have a message thread where everyone can add their favourite Canada-only foods, written like a grocery list in a fun game format. It would be useful too for those who are going on to Canada to shop for food items and for those already in Canada to remember what food items to bring when they move to the USA.

Ok. I'll start with....

Hey you have to disqualify Smarties, they're actually British. I would put down canned black olives with the pits in them, but not sure if that's uniquely Canadian or not. I sure can't find them here...

Hey you have to disqualify Smarties, they're actually British.

Then one would also have to disqualify Aero and several other popular chocolate bars.

I'll add Cherry Blossom (chocolate with cherry in middle) to my list

actually, we call it back bacon, or peameal bacon. Ham is something else entirely.
