The reality is that you have not been here from the beginning and you had been you might understand Hank's remark is stared with a little more emphasis then was is normal for him. And, for Jim, he is frustrated as he has found himself taking 2 steps forward and 3 steps back to resolve many problems along his journey. Some have been his doing but most have not. You can chalk it up to bad luck. Sometimes we have tried to help but sometimes our recommendations may not have been considered. Anyway he's going to get this corrected and he'll have is family with him soon.

... every now and again - some think they can bend the rules, most of the time they find they have screwed the pooch.

CEAC at state department website says visa is issued. Does that mean it is in process of being added to the passport?

How does the embassy notify the beneficiary of 2GO shipment?

Thanks,

Jim

Yes, ISSUED mean they are now printing the visa and packaging the case file, preparing everything for delivery by 2GO. As for tracking you can use the UID number on the interview confirmation page, your MNL # (sometimes).

There has been some recent updating on the final process.

I have gotten an email for tracking number. Give them 2-3 business days from when it said issued. Then try calling 2go see if they have it. My daughter status changed to issued Friday then out for delivery Tuesday. Then I had my mom go to 2go to pick up the packet Wednesday.we are from manila.

Thank you for your answer. It pleases me that things are moving now. The CEAC update page says to call USEM if visa not received within 10 days following interview. We are past that. But will still check on Nov. 4 to see the progress, if any!

That is weird, never heard that being posted on the CEAC website, as most visas do not arrive within 10 days of the interview. 10 days after ISSUED more likely.

I've attached a screen capture of the notice from CEAC.

Ah, that makes sense, the first sentence of that notice, until you are at that stage you wouldn't see that message about the 10 days. Sort of like news reporting,.. leaving parts out. ;)
