hello everyone; hope everyone is doing well. I'm almost in my final stages of immigration and like always in an attempt of getting everything right I over confuse myself; so I have some questions I really hope you guys can help me out with. My husband who is the (petitioner) and i'm the applicant recently filed for affidavit of support (AOS) and we got this email back , please read what the email says about their instructions for me and my husband, my questions are posted after each section, thankyou:)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR: TINA (ME)

______F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________

We reviewed your I-864EZ, Affidavit of Support form and supporting financial

documents. We found that you didn't provide all the necessary supporting documents or you had incomplete information or you missed some questions on the Affidavit of Support form(s).On the attached Affidavit of Support checklist, we have put an "X" by each item you need to correct. Go to the Department of State's website at http://nvc.state.gov/aosand follow the instructions for the Affidavit of Support form. From there, you can fill out a new form, sign, and send the form(s) to the NVC. We require an Affidavit of Support form for each case regardless of your income level.

Your case is on hold until you send us the items we need. When you return the documents and completed Affidavit of Support form(s) to the NVC, please make sure that the documents are in the correct order, as stated in the I-864 Important Notice instructions

I dont understand the instructions for me, basically what they are asking from me is to read the AOS instructions again and ask my petitioner to email me a copy of the new AOS so that I can take it with me at my interview? Is that it?

Form I-864: Assessment Letter for _XYZ (MY petitioner, my husband)

The National Visa Center (NVC) recently reviewed your I-864 Affidavit of Support form. The AOS form had one or more sections with missing or incorrect information or was missing required supporting documents, or both. Please review the instructions below to complete a new AOS form or to obtain the missing supporting documents. Send the corrected AOS form or original documents that are missing to the principal applicant so she can take them to the immigrant visa interview. You should also send photocopies of the Affidavit of Support form to the principal applicant for each traveling family member to take to the visa interview. Failure to take the original documents and copies for each traveling family member to the visa interview can cause processing delays. The Consular Officer will review the corrected form and documents at the time of the interview. You do not need to contact the NVC at this time. Also, do not send an updated I-864 AOS form or documents to the NVC. After we schedule the immigrant visa interview, we will send you an appointment letter. If you need a new I-864 Affidavit of Support form, you can find it at uscis.gov/forms.

My first question is why does it say assessment letter for my husband?

second question is why do they say; do not send an updated 1864 AOS form or document to the NVC? Arnt they asking for a new AOS? Or should I JUST send the items marked [x] to the NVC?

Hey i didn't submit anything as per the suggestions of this website and they were right. I thought they stopped working on my case but as per visa journey my case was complete: and i was quite doubtful about it. But i think two days later i got a case complete email telling me to submit my documents missing at the time of the interview and that they will soon schedule my interview date.

So my suggestion for you is

Just take your missing documents what they are asking for at the interview. You will get a case complete email maybe on monday:)
