She is going to bkk next week for the police clearance

I'm reading that it takes around a month to get the NVC packet and that will put us around November 10

What is the process after receiving the packet? I send the packet to her then she can see the doctor and make an interview appointment? Thanks again everyone for helping us out

Well, have you ever called NVC for the case number? If not you can start calling them for the case number. Once you get the case number from NVC. You can check your case online from this website https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx. When the status changes to "ready" then you can send in packet3. I'm saying this because there are a lot of people that didn't get their packet3 instruction from the embassy. In my case, it took me 7 days to received packet3 in my mail. Plus I'm not in rush so I just waited for my packet 3 to actually arrive before sending anything in. After you send whatever the embassy need in packet3 back to the embassy. They will schedule the interview date for you. Then you make the medical exam appointment. I thought I wrote pretty clear about all these steps on the post above. Well, to be more clear please follow this step.

1. Call NVC for the case number

2. If your case has already assigned you'll get your case number. Then you can track your case from https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

3. If your case status update to "ready" it means that you can send in the packet3. But if it is possible you could wait for like 7-10 days to get actual packet3 that will be sent to your Thai fiance address.

4. follow the packet3 guide line from http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visas/packets.html. Please read Packet 3 Instructions for K Visas. It gives you details of all the documents you need.

5. Prepare all the document in Packet3. Pay for visa fee and register GSS system as it guide in the instruction.

6. Send packet 3 back to the Bangkok US embassy. The address is on the instruction.

7. Wait 2-7 days for them to schedule the interview date for you. They will call or may be e-mail the interview date to your Thai fiance.

8. Once you get the interview date you can make an appointment for the medical exam. You can't skip any steps for this because at this stage they will request to see the embassy appointment date.

9. Go for the interview.
