When should we follow up on i-485?

We filed in January of 2015 abd received an RFE in February. They confirmed they received our response on February 19th. In June I believe we received a notice of possible interview waiver but nothing since.

I checked the processing times for our office and it stated they were reviewing February 18th as of July 31st. Is it still too early to follow up?

Interview-waiver I-485s (i.e. adjusting from a K visa) regularly take up to a year if you do not end up having an interview.

Aww, that's a bummer.

I haven't looked into it yet, but ger combo card expires in March. Does it cost anything to renew? How do you renew it?

It can be renewed as many times as you need it to be - at no cost - until your I-485 is finally adjudicated. In practice you should only ever need to renew it once, and even then only for a couple of months most likely.

You file new I-131 and I-765 applications (on the I-765 you check the box marked "Renewal") together with a copy of the front and back of your current document, as well as a copy of the I-485 NOA to show that your AoS is still pending. You should file for new documents 120 days before your current documents will expire, if you've still heard nothing about your green card by then.

Mail the I-131 and I-765 applications in the same envelope to the Chicago Lockbox.
