What were the questions revolving around? How much face time have you two had? Were there any pictures with family or friends? Sounds like they're looking into the validity of the relationship possibly. Hard to say without more details.

Hi,

Questions:

1. Did they keep or return her passport? (critical information )

2. Were you ( beneficiary) present at interview? ( might want to consider being there if they offer some sort of second interview to bring additional proof). not that they would ( im no expert)

3. What exactly did she bring as evidence?

Everything Lioness said in the comment above. Make sure you can reinforce all your proof. Try getting Affidavits from people you both know attesting to your relationship ( not that this carries much weight) but more is better than less.

if the pictures did not include family and friends gathering with you both in it that's probably why the consul wanted more.

Bottom line is : get anything you can that can strengthen your relationship with her.

In spite of this scare, the good news is that ya’ll were NOT flat out denied. Hurray. :joy:

Case is in AP but that can go anyway. At least you have the opportunity to return and hand in more proof.

Good luck on err'thing.

Yep i think you guys are right because the picture went with to the interview is the one that include only me and her but we have more oucs thats include family but she didn't bring them because we thought they not gonna need them good thing we have them and she told the consular that we have it we just didn't brung them to the interview do she take the pics on the SD Card and the whatsapp conversation mail it to them through DHL.... But what make me confused is that i the end of the interview they handed her a paper that says congratulations yourimigrant visa is approved but you need to do two more important steps first creat a profile on ustravledocs and second pick up your passport

That';s why I asked if they kept her passport. You have not clearly stated on what terms did the consul end .

they usually approve and give directions for passport

or, say there is missing documentation and until you don't provide it they wont issue visa

or they flat out deny

and more , there are plenty possibilities. your wife needs to tell you exactly what they requested, how they wanted it back, and if visa would be approved upon that.

Also, it has been TWO weeks already, im not sure how much you have done regarding this issue. But, have you been checking online CEAC for you visa status. That can give you some sense of what’s going on. Who knows, it might say issued already. My point is check on that and see how frequent it gets touched.

Again, im no expert so other members probably can give you more concise information/direction on what to do.

And also when i check the CEAC website to check the visa status it says that your case is under administrative processing....

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days. Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, Immigrant Visas for "Diversity Visas" cannot be issued after September 30th of the year in which you were selected to apply for a Diversity Visa. For example, entrants into the Diversity Visa Program in Fall of 2011 were selected for Diversity Visa 2012 Program, and selectees MUST apply and receive their visa prior to September 30, 2012 otherwise they lose eligibility to receive a Diversity Immigrant Visa, regardless of additional administrative processing. In addition, please note that some immigrant visas may not be able to be issued if the annual numerical limit for that category has been reached.

ok so this is good. The have indeed kept her passport meaning they are waiting for the additional proof and once this is reviewed and accepted, the visa will be issue.

Start preparing some heavy evidence including pictures. Send them and as per instructions given everything should be ok. in regards to time, not sure I guess it will depend on how quickly u guys respond to the embassy. Once they receive the evidence, i dont think it will be "thaaat" long.

Good luck on everything.

Well this is just my opinion.,.,.from a guy married to a Filipino. The CO at her interview asked her, "do YOU have any pictures" as the first question.

I think some people think pictures of places together, and with her family members is.,.,..,.secondary evidence,.,.,I disagree.., ""pictures, 'the right ones' can make or break an approval.,.,.,

just an opinion from our journey in 2013.

Best of luck.

Don't worry my friend you will be fine.

Did you pay at the DHL to send the whatsapp chat logs to the embassy?

I feel that your fiance didn't take enough proofs of the relationship with him to the interview .

What proofs he took with him to the interview ?
