Waiting for K1 to arrive in Bahrain

My fiancé & I are anxiously waiting for our paperwork to arrive at the US Embassy in Bahrain. It went to "in transit" on September 3rd. So far, no updates.

Anyone have any experience with the embassy in Bahrain in relation to the K1 visa?

I seems not very people are doing K1 visas through Bahrain. I thought I would update to share it took our visa 4 weeks to arrive. Maybe someday this post might help someone else that is waiting. Now to figure out what is next!
