I still want to know why Liverpoolers are more law-abiding than Liverpudlians are.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

1) There is no need for me to do so. A jury already did that, and a judge handed down the sentence. Nowhere did I ever state a person is born with murderous intent. I'd bet that many of us in the world, heck, even on this very forum, have FELT the notion. But acted on it? Most likely not. It's a choice, you see.

2) Yes, I could have. But as I tried to make clear above, there is no need for me to justify myself to you nor to the other poster. When I say something that makes you question my position on the subject, feel free to address me on it, even via PM if you really want to know. Until then, why would I defend something I never said?

3) How many white Africans do you know? I know only one, and I know he took the first chance he had to get a DV to get his family out of there. They feared for their lives on a daily basis, and he was sick of the racism towards his family. It didn't used to be so bad, but it's getting worse over there. And I don't know the experience of the writer of that article, but I'd trust a resident over a reporter any day. And he told me the government wasn't run by whites, and that it was very corrupt.

Small point, if you say predisposed to murder, that means 'born murderer'.

no I don't. I based that assumption on your post history. now i'm assuming you just hunt for articles on those subjects.

When there's a major hooting incidents in the US, it makes headline news as far away as Australia. So the idea that the UK media is somehow obsessed with stories about racism and gun deaths in the US is wrong.

Presumably hunting for stories (if posting a story that popped up in a Facebook feed counts as hunting) is something you disagree with? If so, I wonder why you don't make more of an issue when others do it since it shows a complete lack of understanding of how this forum works.

Reading the OP it doesn't say what ethnic groups are killing the blacks in America. Where do you get blacks are killing blacks? Also what percentage of these murders involve guns? Not mentioned...

LOL let's not play games here.

The FBI keeps and publishes statistics on both perpetrators and victims and their published statistics indicate that over 94% of African-Americans who are murdered are murdered by other African-Americans. What's tragic is that the majority of those murdered are young, 17-25 yrs old, which points to a HUGE disparity in violent death rates of young, black men.

With that said, an article highlighting the disparity of murder rates in the African-American community it is in effect highlighting black on black crime.

FBI crime report is published annually, it is long and boring but worth a read.
