Hi guys I am an October filler at NVC as well.

Today my AOS fee shows paid .

Now can I pay the IV fee or do I need to wait something from NVC ?

Good luck to all of us :D

Hi Besarta, you have to complete your DS-261 if you haven't yet, and then you have to call NVC to review your DS-261 with them, and THEN they will update CEAC so you can pay your IV fee.

Scan date sept. 10, false checklist received for DS260 on Oct. 6, put on supervisor's review on Oct. 10, CASE COMPLETE on Oct. 29!!!?? Hubby was on hold for an hour, waiting to talk to a supervisor. When one finally became available, she reviewed my DS260 on the phone and we got a case complete after a few minutes. Being pessimistic on the NVC process, I logged in the CEAC website and behold, 3 NAs!!! Finally after 9 months in NVC, we are now just wating for my interview to be scheduled. Hopefully the US embassy in the UAE is not that busy!!I am so thankful to all the support I got from the VJ world!!!

Has anyone read of someone getting the 3 N/As and then getting a checklist or anything?

I don't know why they'd put me through in 8 days or whatever, honestly. I mean, I'll take it if they're giving it, but it worries me that something is weird and maybe I'll just get stuck here forever. (Everything worries me that maybe I'll just get stuck here forever, frankly!)

Maybe I will get an email from them.

It may be a false alarm...false checklist, they do that sometimes...even if not...you are closer that ever! Keep checking!

Good luck to all of us :D

You need to begin to gather and send your AOS and IV document package, as well as regularly call to review the DS 261 choice of agent.

When that is reviewed/unlocked, you will then receive the invoice to pay the IV Fee and then a couple of days after that...complete the DS 260 immigrant form.

Be sure to also refer to the very first page of this thread with the nvc process if you get stuck.

I am waiting for mine to get reviewed as well. Can I send in my documents before paying IV bill?

Hey guys. So this is really depressing. But is there someone with an August scan date with still no case complete?

I am so tired of this now. Literally everyone has gotten a case complete now. Except for me. And it's so heartbreaking to see everyone finally being reunited with their loved ones while there's still no end in sight for you. I wish everyone luck and wish them well though.

Anyways. I'm almost at the end of my supervisor review(3rd Nov) and they actually told me last week how they have grabbed a hold of our documents on 14th of October, but if they had really grabbed a hold of our packages, shouldn't we have heard something by now? I'm almost afraid to involve a senator now because I feel like then they'll transfer me to another department that deals with senator requests and ask me to wait another month or two.

Anyways. Anyone have any idea why this is happening? Has anything like this happened to them?

I don't know how to get through this stage anymore. Really, really, incredibly depressed. Please help.

Urvashi, sorry to hear of the torment you are going through. I can't fathom why they are delaying your case like that. I think Nystical (I don't think I have the right spelling). NVC lost their documents a couple items and I think their scan date kept getting push back (think they sent documents 3 times to NVC).

Their situation was different but similar in that the incurred unnecessary delays from NVC.

Hopefully you will get closure on November 3rd. I would suggest trying for an expedite request since they robbed you of some time.

I don't think an expedite would be approved. :(

Anyways. Guess there's nothing I can do but wait. Question. What do people for who the supervisor review gets done but the documents still don't get reviewed? I mean, what happens after 42 days when they offer to put you on another supervisor review? How long could it takes then?

It may not be but it also may, let the Embassy be the judge. I don't think you have anything to lose.

Try here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/562097-supervisor-review-how-does-it-work/

I think someone in there has had some delays with the NVC.

Hopefully November 3rd will be it. The answer to your last question is in the last thread I posted.

All I can suppose is that because my husband and I both have NEXUS cards, they have already performed a lot of the background checks on us? most of the info needed for the DS-260 I had sent CBP a few years back with that application.

I'm still completely stunned though.

I sincerely hope everyone else still waiting gets a speedy CC!

Now to wait for an interview...from other Canadians on this forum, it seems like that can take a few months, too.
