Yes, I know they are valid from 3 to 6 months, depending on the results, but I was wondering if I need like the P4 letter to show them when I go for the medical exam :/

Or would they schedule/do my medical exam without the P4 letter?

Hey!

Your question made me think about it too. If it`s an embassy stage maybe it worth to contact embassy about this question or even contact the clinic that is responsible for your medicals? They know it for sure.

And the other thing - what if you could be put for a longer process at NVC? I`m not trying to make you feel bad but don`t want you to have medicals twice. Like they say - if you want to make the God laugh, tell him your plans. Always when you try to hurry it goes even slower )))

But anyway I wish you luck!

Hi MrsCrabs! No worries, i'm already at NVC longer than i should be :)) Got checklisted on the 2nd of October and put on supervisor review on the 4th. Sent the documents again and our new scan date is 14th :)

I already decided, if i'm going to get another checklist because they managed to screw things up, i'll just give up. Told my husband I don't need to live in the US :)

Anyways, in the meantime I called the medical center and got scheduled for the 3rd of November for my medical exam. We'll see what happens but i'm not stressing anymore :) The fact that I stopped lying to myself really helped on coping with this whole process. I don't want to live in the US and I don't need it either. Right now, for me, it's whatever!

Just called NVC about our Sept 24 scan date. Was told I will receive a checklist for the newest version of the I-864 & I-864A. When I sent them they were the current version but by the time NVC got around to reviewing they were not the current version. It was reviewed on Oct 18 and I still have no e-mail.

I'm a little upset that they would checklist for that reason.

I was told to wait for the checklist to come in the mail before resending anything. The lady said that they have not sent the letter yet but soon.

Don`t say that )))) It`s not about living in USA, its about living as a family with your husband ))) Good thing if you really stopped taking this process close to heart and just started to do all you should do by instruction. I`m sure there are so many much more difficult things in life then just a couple exhausted clerks at NVC that don`t take anything personal in this life, even if you miss your husband. They don`t care. Don`t give up!

Take a breath and do your medicals. I`m sure this time fortune will turn to you!

Thank you! I hope this time will be alright, for my husband's sake. I know he wants me there and I want to be with him too. We can always live in Europe (which we had for the past 2 years), but I know he missed his lifestyle in the US and his family, so I'm doing this for his wellbeing and lastly for us also. We'll see what happens though! But thanks again for the kind words!

I wish you a smooth journey and hopefully you'll get a CC soon enough! ?

Unfortunately, I'm in the same boat and feel the same. I'm not saying for you to give up personally but I definitely understand. I submitted documents on 8/19 & 8/28 and as of today they still have not been reviewed. I've been put on "supervisor review" despite asking not to be, because I don't see how adding an additional 42 days to a case is helpful. "Oops we didn't review your documents in the 30 day time frame we give, let me get that over to a supervisor who may take an additional 42 days to review it". No thank you, but here we are. If my case isn't reviewed by the end of this week I'm giving up. This is too stressful and this is no knock to anyone here, but taking the attitude that we just wait is why they get away with it. I'd rather try for a 3rd country than keep going through this.

We still havent got any notification if they did received it planning to give it till friday to call again when i asked nvc about this she said it will take longer for them to track the papers as the dept that we put in was unexistent im just hoping that it wont get lost and somebody will realize that those papers are for direct reviewing, such a bummer we dont have any other copies of some of its contents. ???

No, not really.

The page is pretty simple.

Once you enter the case number and invoice number, you will see the payment for immigrant fee, but you will not be able to pay that until the DS 261 choice of agent is unlocked thru phone.

So when you log in, just pay the aos fee, and complete the DS 261, choice of agent form.

So just to put my info out there for anyone else waiting...

NOA2 on September 18 at Nebraska

NVC received October 5

Got my case number and IIN on 10/19 (Called everyday until they had it! Haha)

Filled out DS 261 immediately on 10/19 but couldn't pay AOS fee until 10/20. Then I decided to be a little risky and sent out the AOS/IV packages last Wednesday and they arrived 10/22. Now I've been calling every day trying to get my DS-261 reviewed and they keep telling me it's locked because it's so new and to try next week so I guess I'll be trying some more. As long as I get it reviewed, get IV bill and fill out DS-260 before they review my documents I should be fine. Ah well, more fun holding on the phone I guess!

I have a question (for anyone who happens to know)

I am attempting to get everything together for the interview (which isn't for quite a while)

on the checklist it says "Evidence of support" for the I-864 should I bring mine, or just the Joint sponsors since I am currently 'unemployed'.

Or should I just bring a second copy of my entire AoS packet?
