A big congrats!

I wonder if the 30 day review timeframe applies to when they scan the AOS/IV package, OR when they receive the DS-260; OR whichever they receive last.

Just sent over the DS-260, my packages are scanned and now the wait begins.

We got some hope from NVC today over the phone. The rep, a young kid, told us the update on our case says "waiting for the review to be completed". I asked, when can we expect it to be completed, and he said - the 24th, well, the 24th is Saturday, so, you better call on Monday the 26th, and it must be completed by then. Feeling better now....

I got an email from NVC this morning telling me they couldn't open several of my files, and to please re-send. I have done so.

(I note that the ones they couldn't open are the ones I added my case number to the top-right corner in a 3rd-party app...I have resent the documents as they scanned, without the case number, and I'm just going to hope nothing is misplaced.)

The good news is that they actually got to my stuff the very next day!

Thanks! Could have been faster if I put all my documents together ahead of time! My advice put your packet together NOW :) go get your criminal record checks, pay stubs, w2's, transcripts, fill out the AOS forms NOW :) and then I could see NVC taking 5-6 weeks easily if there aren't any delayed in reviewing you documents

Thank you for the advice, I will start gathering the documents you mention :)

How long are the Canadian police checks good for? If I were to have my husband get his now, I worry about it expiring before we are through.
