I've been checking this page daily, multiple times, as it shows 3 latest Consulate Reviews. Every second one is about getting IR-1 visa.

Hello all, my IV fee was made payable today. Should I go ahead and pay it, or should I wait to pay it when I send all of my Documents? It will be another 2 weeks before I can send my Documents beacuse My Husband is currently in the states and the RCMP in Canada only takes Electronic fingerprints.. (So its a whole ordeal)

Can someone explain where the third N/A is visible online. Thanks.

Affidavit of support button, which shows PAID, after processing, turns to N/A after the case is complete. At least for some cases. My Mom's page still says PAID, though her interview is on October 23rd.

Hello everyone!! I was approved on 2nd October and hopefully my case soon will be at NVC... Just wanted to get a rough idea on how long does it take from NVC process to final interview? Thanks :)

3 weeks for NVC to receive.

+2 weeks until you will be notified and billed for AOS

Fill out DS 261 right away

+2 weeks until you are billed for IV

Fill out the DS 260

Don't wait for DS 260 to become available, send in documents as soon as you receive the welcome letter.

3-4 weeks until case complete.

ISL embassy on average is scheduled for interview in about 60 days +/-10 so,

8 weeks for interview.

Altogether, you are looking at about 20 weeks. Or approx 5 months.

hi-getting our papers in order

Any tips on how to organize the AOS and IV packages? I feel like I'm using too many paperclips. Would appreciate some tips on how you all did it. Thankss

They should be in separate packages, i didnt paperclip anything in the IV packages as there's only a few things, just made a cover letter. For AOS i paper clipped the AOS papers, paystubs, transcripts, etc under one and then again for my joint sponsor and i used the school binder separators with the tabs and cover sheet to divide everything easily for whoever is reviewing it :)
