They STILL can't review my DS-261. It's been three weeks.

ETA: oh, it hasn't been three weeks, but it's been more than two weeks. I am still not happy given how many people do it after two or three or ten days.

any case close today with scan date sep 17 ????

Hi bond1980,

My scan date was sept 17th as well. It was reviewed on Oct 8th. They said DS-260 is pending as I didn't receive my IV fee invoice yet and am still waiting for IV fee invoice.

What is the status of your case and when did you receive your IV bill invoice ?

I have a question and not sure if this is the right place to ask it or not. I am sure it has been answered before, but I can't seem to find the answer. When gathering the information for the packets to be sent to NVC, there are 2 passport photos required. However, we will be submitting via email. so do we make copies of these photos and take the originals to the interview? Any help regarding this would be much appreciated!!!

Thank you!

I called NVC last week regarding this since we did not include any passport photos in our package, and was told that photos are not required for the NVC stage. The rep I spoke to informed that the photos should be brought to the interview and that the only photo required for the NVC would be a copy of the bio data page of the applicants passport. Hope this clarifies for you.

Hi, any luck getting a case number? We have a similar timeline as far as NVC recieve goes and was not able to get a case # today.

I just called NVC and the lady gave me case number and IID. She also told me that my case is just put in the system, so the ds-261 or aos fee will not be available. Hopefully tomorrow I can pay fee or fill out ds-261. Keep calling and ask for case number even some rep. says it takes 30 days after NVC received the case

Good news! Checked our NVC page and the AOS and IV bills both said "paid". We didn't expect it to happen so fast because we paid via cheque on Friday. So they're super fast right now, even if you don't pay electronically or call. Ds260 is complete and packages sent. A satisfying day.
